Pickleball is exploding in popularity and Brookside Country Club is happy to offer this fast growing racquet sport that combines the features of ping-pong, badminton anf tennis.  Pickleball is a sport for all ages and levels.  It is easy for beginners to learn but can develop into a quick, fast-paced competitive game for experienced players. 

Brookside has two new pickleball courts and open play is available anytime. 

Use of the pickleball courts is restricted to Brookside Country Club members and their guests.  You are welcome to play on a first come first served basis.  



The courts are open in conjunction with the Pennsylvania Park & Recreation Society Reopening Guidelines which offers advice to comply with Governor Wolf’s Process to Re-open Pennsylvania.  In order in ensure the continued health and safety of our members and staff, as well as to comply with the Governor’s executive order, it is necessary to establish strict procedures for those who wish to play. Please read this Notice carefully and be sure you are fully prepared before coming to BCC. Our staff is required to closely monitor these procedures and members will be expected to follow them for the safety of everyone.

The USTA has established the below guidelines for Playing Tennis Safely.  Please carefully follow these guidelines when playing tennis and pickleball.  Note - Members must use their own equipment for tennis and pickleball.

- First and most importantly, if you have a fever, suffer from any respiratory illness or other symptoms of COVID-19, you are not permitted to play. Further, we ask that you not come to Brookside if you are not well. Our staff has been instructed to refuse services to those who do not appear healthy, and you will be asked to leave. Please do not put them in this position.

- Congregating in the tennis pavilion or the parking lot is not permitted.

- Practice social distancing guidelines as set forth by the CDC.
